General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the upper South, and the moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. At the same time, the high pressure area still covers the upper North and the Northeast of Thailand. Less rain will be forecast for the country with increasing temperatures by 1-2 C in the Northeast, the North and the Central regions.
The moderate wind and waves in the Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution in the thundershowers.
The category 3 tropical storm SAUDEL in the Pacific has moved to the middle South China Sea. It will make landfall over Vietnam coast from 24-25 October before declining quickly.
