General Situation The active low-pressure cell will covers the middle South, and the stronger northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf of Thailand and the South. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible for the South. People should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash flood.
The strong wind and waves are about 2-3 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Gulf proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats keep ashore lasting 26 December.
The high-pressure system over upper Thailand is weakening, accompanying with rising temperatures by 1-2 C with possible morning fog. There also remains cool to cold weather in the North and the Northeast while mountaintops remain cold to very cold with frost in some place. People should keep healthy due to variable weather.
