During 4-6 February, another moderate high pressure will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool to cold with strong wind, 1-3C drop in temperature are likely over the upper North and the Northeast while morning cool with a slight drop in temperature are forecast over the rest region. During 7-9 February, the westerly trough will move pass over the North and the upper Northeast while the southerly wind and the southeasterly wind bring moisture from the Gulf and the South China Sea to the lower Northeast,the lower Central ,the East including Bangkok and vicinity. The high pressure covering upper Thailand and the South China Sea will weaken. Thundershowers with gusty wind and hail are expected over upper Thailand.
The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South throughout the period with isolated thundershowers in some areas.

During 7 - 9 February, people over upper Thailand should beware of thundershowers and gusty wind. Farmer should prepare for crop damage.
