During 8-9 February, the westerly trough will move pass over the North, the upper Northeast and the Central. Associated with the southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the Gulf and the South China Sea to the lower Northeast, the lower Central, the East including Bangkok and its vicinity. While the weaken high pressure covers upper Thailand, Thunderstorms with gust and hails are likely over the North and the Northeast. Thunderstorms with gust are forecast over the Central, the East, Bangkok and its vicinity. During 10 - 12 February, another moderate high pressure from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool to cold in the upper part of Thailand. The temperature will decrease by 4-6 C in the North and the Northeast and 2-4 C in the Central, the East including Bangkok Metropolis and its vicinity. After that during 13 - 14 February, the high pressure covers the North, the Northeast and the South China Sea will weaken. Increasing temperature is forecast for the upper country while morning cool to cold and fog with isolated dense fog in some area. Morning cool and fog are likely over the Central, the East, Bangkok Metropolis and its vicinity. The weak northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South throughout the periods.

During 8 - 9 February, people over upper Thailand should beware of thunderstorms with gust and hail. Residents should keep off unsecured buildings and outdoor places. Farmers should prepare for crop damage. During 10 - 14 February, people over upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather.
