Weather Forecast During 15 - 16 February, the weak high pressure covers the upper North, the Northeast and the South China Sea. 1-2C rise in temperature with morning fog and dense fog in some area is forecast for the upper country. The southerly and the southeasterly wind prevails over the lower North, the Central, the East including Bangkok and its vicinity with thundershowers in the areas. The weak northeast monsoon prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand with Isolated thundershowers. During 17 - 21 February, another rather strong high pressure from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea cause isolated thundershowers during 17-18 February 2021. After that 2-4C drop in temperature with cool to cold and strong wind are expected in the North and the Northeast while 1-3C drop in temperature in the rest regions. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf of Thailand and the South will strengthen with more rains. The moderate wind will rise the wave up to about 2 meters in the lower Gulf and above 2 meters in thundershowers area.
Warning During 17 - 18 February, people over upper Thailand should beware of thundershowers. Residents should keep off unsecured buildings and outdoor places. Farmers should prepare for crop damage. During 19 - 21 February, people over upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to variable weather. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers area.
Northern Part During 16 - 17 February, cool to cold and morning fog with dense fog in some area, 1-2 C rise in temperature.
Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 12-22C. Maximum temperature 31-36C.
Cold to very cold on the mountain top. Minimum temperature 2-10C.
Southwesterly wind 10-20 km/hr.
During 18 - 21 February, cool to cold, 2-4 C drop in temperature.
During 18 ? 19 February, isolated thundershowers mostly in the upper part.
