Weather Forecast During 16 - 19 April, another moderate high pressure-system from China will extend to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea leading to the southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central, including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East regions. Meanwhile, the westerly trough will move pass over the North, the upper Northeast, and the Central regions while hot weather still remains over the upper country. Outbreaks of summer storms, as well as scattered thunderstorms with gusty winds, heavy rain and hail are expected over upper Thailand. The southwesterly wind prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand with thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in the areas. During 20 - 22 April, the moderate high pressure-system covering upper Thailand will weaken while the heat low cell covers upper Thailand. Hot and haze during the day are likely over the upper country. Including, the southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East regions. Thundershowers and gusty winds are forecast in the areas. The southwesterly wind remains across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand with thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Warning During 16 - 19 April, people in upper Thailand should beware of the severe conditions by avoiding from outdoor places, big trees, unsecured buildings and billboards. Farmers should prepare for crop?s damage. Typhoon ?SURIGAE? over the Pacific Ocean has no effect on Thailand.
