General Situation Another high-pressure system from China extend to the south of China and upper Vietnam. It is expected to cover the upper Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea by today (5 May 2021). Accompany with the southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand to the lower North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions while hot weather occur in the upper country. Thundershowers with gusty winds and hail are forecast in upper Thailand. Isolated heavy rains are also possible. People in upper Thailand should beware of the severe conditions by avoiding from outdoor places, big trees, unsecured buildings and billboards. Farmers should prepare for crop?s damage.
The easterly wind prevails across the Gulf of Thailand, the South and the Andaman Sea with scattered thundershowers. Isolated heavy rains are expected in the lower South (east coast).

Northern Part Hot during the day with scattered thundershowers. Isolated gusty wind, hail and heavy rains
mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phitsanulok, Chiang Rai,
Phayao, Nan, Uttaradit, Phetchabun, Kamphaeng Phet and Tak.

Maximum temperature 36-39 C.
Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Hot during the day with scattered thundershowers. Isolated gusty wind, hail and heavy rains
mostly in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lam Phu,
Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Amnat Charoen, Mukdahan, Si Sa Ket,
Ubon Ratchathani. Surin, Buriram and Nakhon Ratchasima.

Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central Part Hot during the day. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds
mostly in Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Nakhon Sawan,
Lop Buri, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Saraburi and Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.
Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 36-37 C.
Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern Part Hot during the day. Scattered thundershowers with gusty winds
mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri, Rayong,
Chanthaburi and Trat.
