During 24 - 28 May, the monsoon though will lie across the North, the Central, the East, and the Northeast. More rain with isolated heavy rain is likely in the areas. During 29-30 May, the monsoon trough will weaken with less rain in the Northeast and the lower Central. The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand throughout the period. Resulting thundershowers remain in the North, the upper Central and the East. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen, up to 2 - 4 meters in the Andaman sea and above 4 meters in thundershowers areas. For the Gulf of Thailand, wind wave height is about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers areas.
The tropical cyclone ?YAAS? over the upper Bay of Bengal is expected to make landfall over upper India during 26-27 May 2021. This causes the southwest monsoon will intensify.

People over Thailand should beware of heavy rain. All ships in the Andaman Sea should keep ashore and all ships the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution.
