General Situation More rains are forecast over upper Thailand with isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast and the East due to the monsoon trough lies across the lower North and the Northeast. The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South, and the Gulf of Thailand is strengthening with isolated heavy rains in the South. The strong winds force the waves in the Andaman Sea up to 2-4 meters high and above 4 meters high in thundershowers. The moderate winds are likely in the upper Gulf of Thailand with waves about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers. The lower Gulf, the waves are likely 1-2 meters high and about 2 meters high in thundershowers. People should beware of the severe conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep ashore and the ships over the Gulf should proceed with caution and be careful of thundershower areas.
