General Situation The moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the Gulf of Thailand is strengthening while a low-pressure cell covers upper Lao and the Gulf of Tonkin, Vietnam. More rain will be likely in the country. Isolated heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South (west coast). People should beware of the severe weather.
The wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand begin rather strong. In the Andaman Sea, the waves are 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. For the upper gulf, the waves up to about 2 meters in thundershower. All ships should proceed with caution in thundershowers.
