On 6 Aug, The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand with isolated heavy rain is likely in the East and the South (west coast). The strong wind and waves in the Andaman Sea will be likely with 2-3 meters in the upper Andaman Sea and above 3 meters in thundershowers , as well as about 2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and upper Gulf of Thailand with above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
During 7 ? 12 Aug, the southwest monsoon that prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will weaken. During 10 ? 12 Aug, the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, upper Laos and upper Vietnam. Thundershowers remain over the country with isolated heavy rain in the North and the South (west coast). The wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
The tropical storm ?LUPIT? over the coast of southern China is expected to move to Taiwan. This storm has no effect to weather in Thailand.

On 6 Aug, people over the risk areas in the North, the East, and the South (west coast) should beware of heavy rain. All ships should proceed with caution and small boat in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore.
