Less rains with isolated thundershowers are likely over the country. During 19 - 22 Aug, the southwest monsoon remains over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand while the low pressure covers upper Vietnam. The easterly wind will move to the lower Northeast, the East, the lower Central and the upper Gulf. More rains with isolated heavy rains are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East, and the South regions.
The wind and waves over the Andaman Sea 1-2 meters high and about 2 meters in thundershowers throughout the periods.
