During 20 - 23 Aug, the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Isolated thundershowers are likely over upper Thailand. While the low pressure covers the coast of Malaysia causing isolated heavy rains in the lower South. During 24 - 26 Aug, the southwest monsoon remains over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will strengthen while during 25 ? 26 Aug, the monsoon trough will lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast. More rains with isolated heavy rains are likely over Thailand.
The wind and waves over the Andaman Sea will be likely about 1 meter and 1-2 meters in thundershowers throughout the period.
