During 25 ? 29 Aug, the monsoon trough will move down to lie across the North, the Central and the Northeast while the southwest monsoon will strengthen. More rains with isolated heavy to very heavy rain are likely over Thailand. During 30 ? 31 Aug, the southwest monsoon that prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailnd will weaken. Less rains are forecast in the country.
The wind and waves over the Andaman Sea will be likely 1 - 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers throughout the period.
