General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast into the low-pressure cell in the South China Sea. Meanwhile, the stronger southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Continuous rainfalls, as well as heavy rains, are forecast over the country, while very heavy rains are possible for the lower Northeast, the Central, the East and the South regions. People in the risky areas of upper Thailand should watch for overflows and flash floods.
Tropical storm CONSON over the central part of the Philippines is moving west-northwest into the South China Sea by 9 September. It will further move to the Gulf of Tonkin on 12 and 13 September.

Northern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Phichit, Phetchabun, Kamphangphet and Tak.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains
in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nakhon Phanom, Sakon Nakhon,
Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Si Sa Ket,
Ubon Ratchathani and Amnat Charoen.

Maximum temperature 32-34 C.
Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains
mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya,
Nakhon Pathom, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains
in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain
in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan and Chumphon.
