During 23 - 26 Sep, the monsoon trough less across the Central, the East and the lower Northeast will strengthen. More rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast over the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East including Bangkok Metropolis and Vicinity.The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, 1-2 meters high in the lower Gulf of Thailand, and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 27 - 29 Sep, the monsoon trough will less across the lower Central and the upper South. Continuous rains with isolated heavy rain remains over in the Central and the South. The weak winds and wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, 1- 2 meters in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and about 1 meter in the lower Gulf while above 2 meters in thundershowers. While the southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand throughout the period.
The tropical depression overs the middle South China Sea. The storm was moving northwest. It is expected to make landfall over the middle Vietnam by tomorrow (24 September 2021) and then downgrade to the active low-pressure cell as well as move follow the monsoon trough line across the Northeast and the Central during 24-25 September 2021.
