General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the lower North, the Central and the Northeast regions into tropical depression KOMPASU over upper Vietnam. Meanwhile, the strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Very heavy rains will be likely in some areas of the East while isolated heavy rains are forecast for the Northeast, the Central, and the South. People in risk areas beware of the heavy rainfall and its accumulation that may cause overflows and flash floods.
The strong wind is likely in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand. The waves are 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf and more than 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, and small boats in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand keep shore until 16 Oct 2021.
The tropical depression KOMPASU over upper Vietnam downgraded into a low-pressure cell.

mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit,
Tak, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Kalasin, Mukdahan, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 26-30 C.
Variable winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Suphan Buri, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakorn.

Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rains
in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers.
Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani.

Surat Thani northward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
