Weather Forecast: During 21 - 22 Jan 2022, The westerly trough moves through the eastern part of the North and the Northeast of Thailand. Meanwhile, the weak high-pressure system over the South China Sea induces the southeasterly winds to bring the moisture into the Central and the East regions. Thundershowers, gusty winds and hail are forecast for the North and the Northeast.
During 23 - 27 Jan 2022, the upper westerly wind prevails over upper Thailand. Cool to cold with fog are likely in the North and the Northeast. Cool with light fog in the morning are likely in the Central and the East regions. Decreasing in temperature by 3-5 C are forecast in the North and decreasing in temperature by 1-2 C are forecast in the rest regions.
The weak high pressure-system still covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. The weak northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South throughout of period.
