During 10 - 13 Aug, the monsoon trough lies across the North and the Northeast into the tropical depression over the upper South China Sea while, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Remain rains are likely in the whole country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast and the East regions. The wind waves in the upper Andaman Sea are about 2 meters high, above 2 meters high in thundershowers and 1-2 meters high in the upper Gulf, about 2 meters high in thundershowers.
During 14 ? 15 Aug, the monsoon trough lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast will weaken, including the weakening southwest monsoon prevail over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Rains over the whole country will be decreased, however isolated heavy rains still remained in the North, the Northeast regions. Wind waves in the Andaman Sea are 1-2 meters high, about 2 meters high in thundershowers and about 1 meter high in the Gulf, 1-2 meters high offshore.
In addition, the tropical depression over the upper South China Sea is expected to intensify and will move to upper Vietnam during 10 - 11 Aug.
Warning
During 9 - 13 Aug, people in Thailand should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and surface runoff. All ships in the Andaman sea and upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore until 9 August.
