During 15 - 18 Nov, the weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea leads to the easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail over to the upper country. Thundershowers are likely in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. During 19 - 21 Nov, another high-pressure system from China will extend to the upper Northeast. Less rains and a decrease in temperature by 1 - 3 C is likely in the upper Northeast first then the rest regions. In addition, the northeast monsoon and the easterly wind prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea. Meanwhile, the monsoon trough will lie across the lower South with continuous rainfall and isolated heavy rains in the South throughout the period and isolated very heavy rains in some area.
Caution
People in upper Thailand should keep healthy due to the variable weather. Farmers in the upper country should prepare for crop?s damage due to isolated rain People in the South should beware of severe condition that may cause flash floods and surface runoff, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands throughout the period. All ship should proceed with cautions and avoid thundershowers.
