General Situation

The monsoon trough lies across the lower South while the low-pressure cell covers Malaysia. In addition, the easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf and the South. Continuous rainfalls and isolated heavy rains are likely in some places of the South. People beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash floods and overflows, especially along the water ways near foothills and lowlands.
The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea leads to the easterly and the southeasterly winds prevail over the lower the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. Thundershowers are likely in the areas. Morning cool with fog are likely in the upper North and the upper Northeast. People should keep healthy.

Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Southern (East Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains
in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.

Surat Thani upward: Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
