The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea throughout the period. Morning fog are likely in the upper country and morning cool remains in the upper North and the upper Northeast. During 18 ? 20 Nov, the easterly and the southeasterly winds prevailing over the lower Northeast, the lower Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions is weakening. Less rains and isolated thundershowers are expected in the North, the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East regions. At the same time, the monsoon trough lies across the lower South while the weakening easterly winds prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea. Less rains are likely in the South and isolated heavy rains are possible in the lower South. During 21 ? 24 Nov, the low-pressure system from the lower South China Sea will move through the Tip of Indochina and the upper Gulf into the monsoon trough lies across the upper South. More rains are likely in the country and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible in the Northeast, the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the upper South regions. The waves in the upper Gulf of Thailand are 2 - 3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers. The waves in the Andaman Sea and lower upper Gulf of Thailand are about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Caution
People in upper Thailand should keep healthy due to the variable weather, farmers should prepare for crop?s damage. People in the South should beware of severe condition that may cause flash floods and surface runoff, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands throughout the period. During 21 ? 24 November 2022, all ships in the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore.
