General Situation

The active low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea is expected to move through the tip of Indochina into the Gulf of Thailand on 23 and 24 November. Meanwhile, the monsoon trough across the middle South results in some heavy rains in the East and the South regions. People should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the foothills near the waterways and lowlands. The weak high-ressure system over the South China Sea cause the prevailing easterly and southeasterly winds at high altitude over the upper country. It leads to isolated thundershowers in the North, the lower Northeast and the Central regions including Bangkok and its vicinity. People should keep healthy.
The stronger winds force the waves in the lower Gulf about 2 meters high and in thundershowers more than 2 meters high. The lower Andaman Sea has waves 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers about 2 meters high. All ships proceed with caution, and small boats in the Gulf keep ashore.

Isolated thundershowers mostly in Uthai Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.

Northeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains mostly in Chanthaburi and Trat.
Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-34 C.
Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla.
Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C.
Surat Thani upwards : Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter high and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards : Northwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Krabi, Trang and Satun.
Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C.
Northwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
