During 24-25 Nov, the active low-pressure system over the upper Gulf of Thailand is likely to move pass the upper South into the upper Andaman Sea with the monsoon trough across the upper South. Meanwhile southeasterly wind prevails over upper Thailand with more rains likely in the whole country. Isolated heavy rains are possible in the North and the Northeast and very heavy rains in some of the Central and Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the South regions. The waves in the upper Gulf of Thailand and the upper Andaman sea are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 26-29 Nov, the weak monsoon trough lies across the South while the weak southeasterly wind prevails over the lower North, the lower Northeast, Bangkok and its vicinity and the East. Less rain is forecast over the country. In the Gulf and the Andaman Sea, the wind waves will weaken with 1-2 meters high and in thundershowers above 2 meters high. On 30 Nov, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea, making thundershowers and strong winds for the first period. Temperature will decrease in the upper country.
Caution
During 24 - 25 November 2022, people should beware of severe condition that may cause flash floods and water runoff, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution, and small boats in the lower Gulf keep ashore lasting 24 Nov 2022.
