General Situation 01 December 2022
Another moderate high-pressure system from China over Laos will cover northeastern Thailand. Outbreaks of variable weather begins with isolated thundershowers then a decrease in temperatures. First, a decrease in temperatures affects the Northeast and then the rest regions. The easterly wind prevails across the Gulf and the South with thundershowers remaining in the lower South. People in upper Thailand should keep healthy, and farmers should prevent for crop damage.
On 2 and 3 Dec, the low-pressure cell over the lower South China Sea will activate moving to the coast of lower southern Thailand and Malaysia. It will then pass the South into the Andaman Sea and 4 and 5 Dec with heavy to very heavy rains in some of the South while the waves in the lower Gulf become strong on 3 and 4 Dec.

Scattered thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla,
Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.

Surat Thani upwards: Easterly winds 8-16 knots or 15-30 km/hr.
Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershowers.
Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Easterly winds 8-18 knots or 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phangnga, Krabi, Trang and Satun.

Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Bangkok Metropolitan
