General Situation

The rather strong high-pressure system has covered upper Thailand causes cool to cold weather with light fog in the morning. People should keep healthy.
The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand the South and Andaman Sea. The strengthening wind forces the waves in the lower Gulf up to 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution. Small boat should keep ashore.
In addition, from 17?20 December 2022, another strong high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand with cool to cold weather in the North and the Northeast with strong wind. The waves are likely up to 2 - 4 meters high and in thundershowers above 4 meters high. The waves in the Andaman Sea are 1 ? 2 meters high and 2 ? 3 meters high offshore.

Surat Thani upwards: Northeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and in thundershowers about 2 meters.
Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: Northeasterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
Wave height 2-3 meters and in thundershowers above 3 meters.
Southern (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Krabi, Trang and Satun.

Maximum temperature 31-33 C.
Northeasterly winds 20-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1-2 meters and about 2 meters offshore.
