During 20 - 23 Dec, strong high-pressure system upper Thailand is weakening causes cool to cold weather with light fog in upper country. During 24 - 25 Dec, the moderate high-pressure system from China extend to cover upper Thailand. Cause slight drop in temperature and still cool to cold in the upper country. During 19 - 20 Dec, Northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South with isolated heavy to very heavy rains in the lower South. The wind and wave 2 - 4 meters are expected in the Gulf and above 4 meters in thundershowers. Meanwhile 2 - 4 meters offshore are likely in the Andaman Sea. During 21 - 25 Dec, Northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South is weakening cause the South less rain and the wind and the wave is weakening
Caution
During 19 - 20 Dec 2022, People in the upper country should take precaution to health condition due to decreasing in temperature and proceed with caution from the strong wind. people in the lower south should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. All ships in the Gulf and Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf should keep ashore until 20 Dec.
