General Situation

The moderate high-pressure system covers upper Thailand with cool to cold weather in the North and the Northeast. Meanwhile, morning cool is likely in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the upper South regions. People keep healthy and beware of fire due to dry air.
The moderate northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand, the South and Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the lower South. In the lower Gulf, the waves are about 2 meters high and in thundershowers above 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
In addition From 24 ? 28 December 2022, the rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. 1 - 3 ?C drop in temperature is likely in the areas with cool to cold. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf and the South is strengthening leading wind and wave are forecast in the Gulf causing wave height is 2-3 meters in lower part of the Gulf and above 3 meters in thundershowers. About 2 meters and more than 2 in thundershowers area in the upper the Gulf and offshore Andaman Sea.
