During 29 Dec 2022 - 3 Jan 2023, another rather strong high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand. 2 - 4 C drop in temperature and windy are likely in the North, the Northeast and the East with cool to cold weather. The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South will strengthen leading to more rain in the lower South. The moderate wind and wave are forecast in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea with the wind and wave over the lower Gulf are about 2 meters and 2-3 meters in thundershowers. During 28 - 30 Dec 2022, the westerly trough at the high altitude passes the upper North with isolated thundershowers.
