The strong high pressure system covers Thailand and the South China Sea with cool to cold and strong winds. People should keep healthy and beware of fire due to dry air and strong winds.
The strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf, the South of Thailand and the Andaman Sea with isolated heavy rains in the lower South. People in the lower South should beware of heavy rains. The strong wind forces the waves up to 2-4 meters high in the Gulf and in thundershowers more than 4 meters high. In the Andaman Sea, the waves are 1-2 meters high and offshore about 2 meters high. People along the South (east coast) should beware of inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the Gulf keep ashore.
