Weather Outlook During 14 - 20 March 2024
During 14 - 17 Mar, the heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand with hot to very hot and haze during the day. Meanwhile, the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast, the lower central and the East regions with isolated thundershowers. The easterly wind and the southeasterly wind prevailing the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea will weaken with less rain. During 18 - 20 Mar, another rather strong high pressure system from China will cover the Northeast and the South China Sea while there are hot to very hot weather and the southerly and southeasterly winds cover the lower North, the Northeast, the Central and the East. Thunderstorms will be forecast over the upper country with gusty wind, thunder and possile hail in some areas. The easterly wind and the southeasterly wind prevailing the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea will strengthen with more rain.
Caution
During 18 - 20 Mar, People in the upper Thailand should beware of severe condition by keeping off big trees and unsecured billboards.
