General Situation

The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand while the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the lower North, the lower Northeast, the Central and the East. Day hot with haze and isolated thundershowers are likely in the upper country while very hot weather are possible in the North, the Northeast and the Central. People in the upper country should keep healthy due to hot to very hot weather. The easterly and southeasterly winds prevails over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South. During 19-20 March 2024, the moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Meanwhile, the easterly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country where hot to very hot weather occurs. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorms, gusty wind and hail including lightning strike in the country for the first period and then a decrease in temperature.

Northern

Northeastern
Day hot to very hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Chaiyaphum and Khon Kaen. Minimum temperature 24-27 ?C. Maximum temperature 38-40 ?C. Southerly winds 10-15 km/hr.
Central
Day hot to very hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Saraburi. Minimum temperature 23-27 ?C. Maximum temperature 37-41 ?C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Eastern
Day hot and haze. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-27 ?C. Maximum temperature 33-39 ?C. Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 21-27 ?C. Maximum temperature 32-39 ?C. Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Ranong and Phang Nga. Minimum temperature 23-27 ?C. Maximum temperature 36-39 ?C. Easterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot and haze. Minimum temperature 25-27 ?C. Maximum temperature 35-38 ?C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
