General Situation

The southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf is rather strong while the low-pressure cell covers central and the Tonkin Bay. Isolated heavy rains are likely in the country. People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains that may cause flash floods and overflows especially, along waterways and lowlands, and take more caution in thundershowers. The rather strong wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are likely 2?3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers while 1?2 meters high in the lower Andaman Sea and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. In the Gulf, the waves have about 1 meter high 1-2 meters high offshore and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers areas. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore during 24-26 May. In addition, an active low-pressure cell over the lower Bay of Bengal will intensify to the tropical depression during 24-25 May. It is expected to make landfall over northeastern of India and Bangladesh during 25-26 May.

Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Phetchabun and Tak. Minimum temperature 23-26 ?C. Maximum temperature 31-34 ?C. Southwesterly winds 10-15 km/hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom and Nakhon Ratchasima. Minimum temperature 24-26?C. Maximum temperature 31-34 ?C. Southeasterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram. Minimum temperature 24-26 ?C. Maximum temperature 32-35 ?C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated very heavy rains in Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-26 ?C. Maximum temperature 32-34 ?C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers and isolated heavy rains in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan and Chumphon. Minimum temperature 24-26 ?C. Maximum temperature 33-37 ?C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter, 1-2 meters offshore, and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scatterred thundershowers and Isolated heavy to very heavy rains in Ranong. Minimum temperature 24-25 ?C. Maximum temperature 34-36 ?C Ranong upward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. Phangnga downward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. Minimum temperature 26-27 ?C. Maximum temperature 33-35 ?C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.
