General Situation

The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand with hot weather in the upper country and isolated very hot are possible in some places of the North. At the same time, the southwesterly and southerly winds prevail over the upper country with isolated thundershowers and gust wind. People in the upper country should beware of severe conditions and should keep healthy due to the hot to very hot weather. The southwesterly and southerly winds prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with more rain and isolated heavy rain in the South. The wind and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are likely about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should keep off thundershowers. In addtion, during 12-14 Apr, another moderate high-pressure system from China will extend to the Northeast and the South China Sea while hot to very hot weather occurs. Outbreaks of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorms, gusty wind and hail including lightning strike are likely in the upper country.

Northeastern
Hot weather. Scattered thundershowers with gust mostly in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Kalasin, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Sisaket, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 36-39 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Central
Hot weather. Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Lopburi, Saraburi, Suphanburi and Kanchanaburi. Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 37-39 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Eastern
Hot in the upper part. Scattered thundershowers with gust mostly in Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Minimum temperature 23-27 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C. Southerly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Isolated thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C. Southerly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C. Southwesterly winds 15-30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter, above 1 meters offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Hot. Isolated thundershowers with gust. Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C. Southerly winds 10-20 km./hr.
