NEO, which is an organizer of "INTERNATIONAL BANGKOK BIKE" in Thailand, is cooperating with "Meese Friedrichshafen" which is an organizer of "EUROBIKE" in Germany, which is the biggest bicycle exhibition in the world. Both of the organizers are cooperating with ASEANBIKE powered by EUROBIKE 2019. They expect that the bicycle industry in Thailand should be enhanced to be a hub of ASEAN and Asia. Thus, there are factors focusing on this project, which are potential, and preparedness of the basic structure, communication and logistics in Thailand. Thailand is a country that is appropriate to boost value in economy not less than 4,000 million baht.
Mr. Sakchai Pattarapreechakul, President of N.C.C. Exhibition Organization Co.,Ltd. (NEO) stated that as an organizer of INTERNATIONAL BANGKOK BIKE which is taken place in May and October and is a leader of organizing the biggest bicycle exhibition in Thailand. Moreover, NEO is cooperating with Meese Friedrichshafen" which is an organizer of "EUROBIKE" in Germany, which is the biggest bicycle exhibition in the world. We will hold the exhibition "ASEANBIKE powered by EUROBIKE 2019" on 3rd-5th October 2019 at Hall 5-6 in Impact Muang Thong Thani. The purpose of this exhibition, which is the biggest and best exhibition in ASEAN, is to show bicycle products. It is expected that there will be more than 55,000 participants from over the world and making value not less than 4,000 million baht.
ASEANBIKE powered by EUROBIKE 2019 is focusing on a group of targets who are entrepreneurs running business and industries of bicycles. For example, entrepreneurs manufacturing bicycles and theirs accessories, distributors, importers and exporters, and entrepreneurs wanting to mainly invest in the bicycle business. Additionally, there are interesting product exhibitions including leading bicycle brands, bicycle accessories, fashions, and other related components. There will be seminars which are importers and retailers and a show how to bike accordance with standardized ways.

Mr. Stefan Reisinger, Head of Outdoor & EUROBIKE, Member of thee Board of Directors, Meese Friedrichshafen GmbH stated that the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN) region is a promising future market as the number of production sites are continually expanding. In addition to the growing production of bicycles and components in the South-East Asian region, incomes and the standard of living are increasing, as is the demand for high-quality bikes. We see great potential here, both at sourcing and OEM levels, and as a future market for western brands.

The major drivers of growth for this market are increasing fitness consciousness among people, increasing environmental concerns, increasing traffic congestion, and government programs to promote cycling.
