ตามที่ได้เกิดเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวที่จังหวัด Kerman ประเทศอิหร่าน เมื่อวันที่ ๒๐ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๓ ที่ผ่านมา นั้น
ในการนี้ นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี และนายกษิต ภิรมย์ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจต่อกรณีดังกล่าวไปยังประธานาธิบดี และรักษาการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศอิหร่าน ตามลำดับ ดังนี้

It is with deep sorrow that I learnt of the recent earthquake that struck Kerman Province, causing injuries and loss of lives.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to you and to the bereaved families of the victims of this tragic incident. Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.

I was deeply saddened upon learning of the recent earthquake in Kerman Province that caused loss of lives, injuries and damage to properties. During this sorrowful moment, I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and people affected by this disaster and hope for an early return to normalcy.
