เนื่องในโอกาสวันชาติของสาธารณรัฐมาดากัสการ์ในวันที่ ๒๖ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๗ พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ และนายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว ปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ปฏิบัติหน้าที่รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีถึงประธานาธิบดีมาดากัสการ์ และรัฐมตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศมาดากัสการ์ดังนี้

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency, and through you, to the Government and the people of the Republic of Madagascar, our heartfelt congratulations and warmest wishes on the auspicious occasion of the 54th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Madagascar.
The bonds of friendship and cooperation between Thailand and the Republic of Madagascar have been close and cordial, filled with mutual trust, respect, and understanding. As the Royal Thai Government has a policy to elevate our partnership with Africa in all aspects, especially in economic and development cooperation, I am certain that our amicable ties of friendship will be further strengthened and developed in the coming years for the benefit of our two countries and peoples.
