เนื่องด้วยวันที่ ๓ ต.ค. ๒๕๕๗ เป็นวันชาติของสหพันธ์สาธารณรัฐเยอรมนี พลเอกประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี และพลเอกธนะศักดิ์ ปฏิมาประกร รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความยินดีเนื่องในโอกาสดังกล่าว ดังนี้

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the Thai people, I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency my warmest felicitations and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of the Day of German Unity.
The German reunification in 1990 marked the beginning of a new and united Germany, which today has become a strong, peaceful and prosperous nation. With its political stability and advanced economy, Germany has set a powerful example for other countries around the world. Therefore, the 24th anniversary of the German reunification offers a good opportunity to congratulate the German people on their country’s achievements.
Thailand is proud to be Germany’s long-standing friend and partner. The strong presence of the Thai and German communities in our respective countries has formed a firm foundation for our enduring friendship as well as close and mutually beneficial commercial and economic ties. We are committed to building on this growing partnership to advance cooperation in all areas of common interest for our mutual progress and prosperity.

On the occasion of the Day of German Unity, I wish to extend to you and the German people my sincere congratulations and best wishes for a joyful celebration.
I am delighted that Thailand and Germany have always enjoyed warm and cordial relations at all levels. Our two countries are bound together through strong people-to-people bonds as well as mutually rewarding bilateral economic cooperation which continues to expand and deepen on many fronts, especially in trade, investment, education and green economy.
