ตามที่นาย Peter Szijjarto ได้รับแต่งตั้งให้เป็นรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศและการค้าฮังการี นายธนะศักดิ์ ประฏิมาปกรณ์ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศจึงได้มีสารแสดงความยินดี ดังนี้

I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency my sincere congratulations and best wishes on Your Excellency’s appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary.

I am encouraged that the ties between Thailand and Hungary are cordial and long-standing. I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to further strengthen and deepen our bilateral cooperation under the existing frameworks, particularly the Joint Commission on Economic Cooperation Meeting, and to explore other possible areas of bilateral partnership for the mutual benefits of our two countries and peoples.
