ตามที่เกิดเหตุเครื่องบินโดยสารของสายการบิน TransAsia เที่ยวบินที่ GE235 ประสบอุบัติเหตุปีกเครื่องบินชนกับสะพานยกระดับและตกลงในแม่น้ำจีหลง นครนิวไทเป ไต้หวัน เมื่อวันที่ ๔ ก.พ. ๒๕๕๘ ส่งผลให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตจำนวน ๑๓ ราย และบาดเจ็บ ๑๖ ราย ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เป็นนักท่องเที่ยวจีน นั้น พลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี และพลเอก ธนะศักดิ์ ปฏิมาประกร รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจถึงนายกรัฐมนตรีจีน และรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศจีนตามลำดับ ดังนี้

It is with my profound sadness to learn about the tragic incident involving the TransAsia Airways flight GE235 on 4 February 2015 in Taipei, causing loss of lives of many Chinese people.
On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of Thailand,
I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the bereaved families of the victims and the injured in this tragic accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and the Chinese people during this difficult time.

I am deeply saddened to learn about the tragic accident of the TransAsia Airways flight GE235 crash on 4 February 2015 in Taipei, causing loss of lives of many Chinese people.
I wish to extend my sincere condolences and sympathy to the Chinese people who lost their loved ones in this tragic accident. I also wish those injured rapid recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and the Chinese people during this difficult time.
