I am deeply saddened about the news of the mass shooting that took place in Orlando, Florida. I am deeply troubled and saddened upon learning the news of the horrific massacre at a nightclub in Orlando. The people of Thailand share with you and the American people this sorrow and the suffering pain of losses.
Just like the U.S., Thailand has attempted to do its best in promoting pluralism and equal rights of all citizens regardless of their genders, religions, or cultural preferences. We in Thailand, therefore, deeply empathize with the families of those who have lost their loved ones in the brutal and discriminate attack. In this connection, I wish to convey through you my sincere condolences to the families of the victims.
I truly hope that our American friends will soon overcome this tragedy and evolve even stronger.
