สารแสดงความเสียใจจากนายกรัฐมนตรีถึงประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐชิลี

เมื่อวันที่ 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2553 นายอภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้มีสารแสดงความเสียใจไปยังนาง Michelle Bachelet ประธานาธิบดีสาธารณรัฐชิลี เนื่องจากเหตุการณ์แผ่นดินไหวเมื่อวันที่ 27 กุมภาพันธ์ ที่ผ่านมา ดังนี้

"Excellency,

It is with profound sadness that I have learnt of the massive scale of earthquake that struck the central part of Chile, resulting in the loss of lives and damages in infrastructure and properties across the capital and central part of the country.

On behalf of the Government and people of Thailand, I wish to extend my heart-felt condolences to Your Excellency and, through you, to the people of Chile especially the bereaved families of those who were affected by this disaster. Thailand is certain that Chile’s experience and preparedness in disaster management will result in the country’s prompt recovery. Our government stands ready to help Chile alleviate the plight of this calamity.

Accept, Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.
