Recently, Two companies of SCG Chemicals certified two prototype : Rayong Olefins Co Ltd and Thai Polyethylene Co Ltd into “Eco Factory”, being the first that has been certified by the Federation of Thai Industries. The Eco Factory certificated were presented by Dr.Ornchaka Sribunrueng, Permanent Secretary to Industry. SCG Chemicals is ready to develop another 11 company factories in Map Ta Phut to meet the Eco Factory criteria by 2015, according to the company’s environmental policy in line with Friend of Community’s Club which aims to upgrade every industrial factory in Map Ta Phut to be Eco Factory.
