Recently, Takayoshi Miki (centre), president of Siam Daikin Sales Co Ltd, and Bundit Srivallapanondh (2nd left), the company’s managing director, led a tree-planting activity as part of the “Explore and Experience R32 Real Love with Daikin” environmental campaign. In cooperation with the Plant A Tree Today Foundation, 320 trees were planted at Paked Nomklao Park, in Amphur Prapadaeng, Samutprakarn province. Daikin is the world’s first R32 refrigerant adopter and is the first to introduce R32 air conditioners to Thailand. R32 is the new generation of refrigerant that does not deplete the ozone layer, and has three times less global warming potential compared to the current refrigerants on the market. R32 can also offer better cooling capacity.
