The catastrophic earthquake in Nepal has left the nation in desperate need of aid. To raise funds for much-needed relief, Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit recently organised the charity event ‘Nepal Needs Your Help’.
Dee Lounge Beer Garden was the venue on 18 May for an evening of light-hearted music and fun albeit for a very serious cause. On hand were Accor top executives who in fact performed as a band, Mauve Men, backed up by Australian guest artists Johnny Spitz and Adam Gorecki. A raffle, meanwhile, featured prizes contributed by Accor hotels in Southeast Asia.
Fund raised from entrance fees and raffle ticket sales totalled THB 144,395.25 (one hundred fortyfour thousand three hundred and ninety five Baht and twenty five satang).
