Entrepreneurs’ Organization Announces Student Finalists for Entrepreneur of the Year

Bangkok--27 May--Ogilvy Public Relations Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) announced the five student finalists competing in its Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (EO GSEA), the premier competition for full-time students running a business. The competition started on 11 May with 50 student entrepreneurs from 50 countries who are vying for EO's 2016 Global Student Entrepreneur of the Year title. The five finalists are: Daniel Dubois of ShareShed, an outdoor online community from Canada, Gladys Martinez of Vaiza, an accessary brand from El Salvador, Ruben Miessen of Remedia BVBA, a location-baed advertising platform from Belgium, Buddhika Jayawardhana of Siplo, online peer tutoring platform from Sri Lanka and Peeyush Shrivastava of Genetesis, medical technology company from U.S. EO also is hosting more than 1,300 business owners from nearly 50 countries in Bangkok, Thailand, for its annual Global Leadership Conference (GLC), to be held 12-15 May.
