Bangkok--16 Mar--PTT To instill conscience safety driving and reduce traffic accidents via GetVan Driver application and Police I Lert U application. On March 16th, 2018 at Traffic Police, Pol.Col.Chomphon Kanjanarat, Deputy Commander of General Staff Division, Metropolitan Police Bureau along with Mr.Chadil Chavanalikikorn, Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management, PTT Public Company Limited andMs.Sangdao Ekkalugpaisit, Managing Director, GetVan Booking Co., Ltd. handed out PTT cash cards valued 400,000 Bath to 370 van drivers who were driving without accident during the past New Year Festival. Pol.Col.Chomphon stated that Metropolitan Police Bureau and Traffic Police have joined PTT Public Company Limited and GetVan Booking- Police I lert U application to create "PTT - MPB for road safety with GetVan" in New Year Festival 2018. The result was more than 5,500 public vans joined with full compliance to traffic regulation who received PTT cash cards valued 400,000 Bath as gifts from PTT. This project was measured by GetVan Booking, a GetVan Driver and Police I Lert U application's statistic that identified quatity of exceeding speeds, accidents and complaints. Mr.Chadil said that Safety, Security, Health, and Environment were the focus of all PTT's operations with an emphasis on reducing traffic accidents and better quality of life to employees, business partners and citizen. PTT gave out PTT cash cards valued 400,000 Bath as a reward to 370 van drivers who comply to traffic regulation and practice safety precaution while driving which can be a role model for other public drivers. Ms.Sangdao added that PTT continued to offers PTT cash cards to 370 type A and type B public drivers. Consequently, from the project, public transportations rectified their traffic behavior with more awareness to other drivers and pedestrians. Furthermore, the application is under development with a new technology to match customers needs. "This cooperation was intended to improve driving safety standard in public transportation by government, private and public sector. This project has succeeded in reducing the traffic accidents, the loss of family member, and the impact on social and economy as well as promoting the sustainably quality of life," Mr.Chadil closed the dialog.
