IKEA Bang Yai received a tremendously warm welcome from residents in the west-side of Bangkok with 158,971 visitors in just the first four days! This milestone underscores the success of IKEA's second store in Thailand, which is also the largest IKEA store in Southeast Asia.
In addition, IKEA Bang Yai also revealed other interesting records in their four days since opening (from March 15-18, 2018) as follows:
There were 158,971 visitors since the store's opening on Thursday, March 15. On the opening day alone, there were 40,386 visitors which is almost double the number predicted.There were 34,569 new IKEA FAMILY members.There were 139,735 restaurant customers.There were 29,435 of meatballs sold.
