Weather Forecast During 29 - 30 Jan, the weak high pressure area covers Thailand. Cool with fog in the morning and thick patches some area remains over the upper Thailand. The weakening northeast monsoon will prevail over the South and the Gulf of Thailand during the period.
During 31 Jan - 2 Feb, another moderate high pressure area from China will extend to the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea. Slight dropping in temperature is expected in upper Thailand with Isolated rain in the Central and the East at the beginning. The stronger northeast monsoon will prevail across the Gulf and southern Thailand. More rain is expected in the South with the wave about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani passing south. After that during 3-4 Feb, this high pressure over the Northeast of Thailand and the South China will weaken. Rising in temperature with more fog is expected over upper Thailand while the weakening northeast monsoon will prevail over the South and the Gulf of Thailand.
Warning People in the upper Thailand should take care of your health and all travelers should beware of poor visibility due to dense fog throughout the period. During 31 Jan – 2 Feb, all ships in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani passing south should proceed with caution.

Cold in the upper part, minimum temperature 12-15 C.
Elsewhere cool, minimum temperature 16-18 C. Maximum temperature 28-33 C.
Cold to very cold in the mountaintop, minimum temperature 5-10 C. Westerly winds 10-30 km/hr.
During 31 Jan - 4 Feb, Slight change in temperature. Cool to cold with fog in the morning and thick patch in many areas.
