Weather Forecast During 28 Feb – 2 Mar, the high pressure from China will extend to upper Vietnam, Laos and the South China Sea after that it will lose strength. During 5-7 Mar, another high pressure will cover the upper Northeast and the South China Sea. This affects the strengthening southeast winds that bring the humidity from the South China Sea and the Gulf covering the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South. Thundershowers, as well as gusty wind, will be likely over the areas during both periods. Warning People in upper Thailand should keep healthy due to the severe weather conditions during the above periods.

Northern Part Cold in the upper and cool else in the morning with hot during daytime. Fog in the morning and thick patches in some places throughout the period.

Minimum temperature 13-24 C. Maximum temperature 33-38 C.

Westerly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Northeastern Part During 28 Feb- 2 Mar and 5 Mar hot and haze during the daytime.

Widely scattered to scattered thundershowers and gusty wind in some place

Minimum temperature 18-23 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C.

Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Central Part During 1 – 2 Mar, and 5 Mar hot and haze during the daytime.

Isolated to widely scattered thundershowers and gusty wind in some place mostly in the lower part.

Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-38 C.

Southeasterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part During 1 – 2 Mar, and 5 Mar hot and haze during the daytime.

Widely scattered to scattered thundershowers and gusty wind in some place.

Minimum temperature 23-26 C. Maximum temperature 33-37 C.

Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter.

Southern Part (East Coast) During 1 – 2 Mar and 5 Mar, cloudy with widely scattered to scattered thundershowers.

Minimum temperature 19-25 C. Maximum temperature 31-36 C.

Southeasterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

From Surat Thani upward: Wave about 1 meter.

From Nakhon Si Thammarat downward: Wave height 1-2 meters.

Southern Part (West Coast) During 1 – 2 Mar and 5 Mar, cloudy with isolated to widely scattered thundershowers.

Minimum temperature 21-25 C. Maximum temperature 33-35 C.

Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1-2 meters offshore.

Metropolitan During 1 – 2 Mar, and 5 Mar hot and haze during the daytime.

Isolated to widely scattered thundershowers and gusty wind in some place mostly in the lower part.
